So today was another one of those crazy days and the diet was as follows....protein bar, Quiznos flatbread classic club with honey mustard, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and a bag of baked chips, dinner was a bowl of lettuce with sun dried tomato vinaigrette, a klondike bar, and a yogurt...so I left out one thing..something I did not think would be a bad thing but I had a fruit and yogurt parfait with granola from chick fil a...this thing was SO sweet it had to be bad for me...however this was RIGHT before I went to the gym and did my GROOVE class...it is so much fun we just get out there and dance and shake and have fun :)
After researching the parfait it was only 240 calories and 5 grams of fat HOWEVER it had 47grams of carbs 36 grams of sugar and 7 grams of protein I still think that the gym took care of that.
I had to work for a few hours yesterday too at a volunteer job which was a lot of fun, on my feet all day so I actually felt really good by the time the day was over!
Today is a no gym day though because I have other obligations..I hate missing the gym but sometimes you have other things to do. Maybe I can get in a walk at some point.
I noticed a problem that I have though. When I know that I am going somewhere, my brain automatically starts to think...hmmm, what am I going to get as a snack, or lunch or whatever. Usually it would have been starbucks to get a coffee and doughnut or something equally as satisfying, or find chick fil a so I can have french fries and all of that yumminess. However, I hear myself stop and say NO NO NO, you are writing this blog to show that you can be strong and make better choices. I may not eat a lot of vegetables and fruit but I hope to get better about that.
